Dark Desire // Intro - Prologue

Things have going south for young Onika. Her father died of an overdose. Her older brother had moved out of state. The only people she had left were, her daughter, Amina, her mom and her younger brother. Onika wants a new life or a fresh start rather, she makes the hard decision of choosing to leave or old life in New York and start fresh in Toronto, Canada.

Onika packed up her and Amina’s belongings, got them shipped to their new apartment and a week later jumped on plane to their new life.

Nicki got a new job, wasn’t the most glamorous job in the world, but it paid the bills. Nicki woke up Monday morning, took Amina to school and headed to her new job, which was the local gas station. She walked in and was greeted by her two co-workers, Lacey and Sienna. Immediately all the girls got along and work flew by.

But well things still continue to look up for Nicki?

Lacey comes in raving about this new guy she’s interested in one day, he was parked outside waiting for her, Nicki immediately didn’t like him and felt an eerie feeling about him. She warned her friend and coworker but Lacey was “head over heels”.

Days go by and no sign of Lacey. Everyone thought she just quit. Nicki got promoted to manager and things were going great. She was able to move into another new, bigger apartment, get more things for Amina. But things come to a halt when this customer shows up, everyday, same time and gives Nicki a weird feeling.


Should Nicki be alarmed? Are things still looking up? Is this just a, I don’t know, I guess a usual customer?
